I’m Reuben Rusk. I connect people with science.

Reuben communicates the science of what matters to individuals, leaders, teams, and organisations to help them flourish. He has become an internationally experienced presenter and recognised expert in well-being science, having earned his PhD in the field from the University of Melbourne. His work has been published several academic journals. His analyses of the positive psychology literature formed the basis for an empirically-based framework that has found application in positive education.

For over 12 years, he has worked with a range of organisations within New Zealand and Australia, including University of Melbourne, Southern Cross, the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience, Holmes Group, and the Pause Breathe Smile Trust. With a background in engineering, he brings a unique perspective to lasting well-being change that focuses on systems of moment-by-moment processes.

His recent work has explored ways to establish lasting new patterns in these processes by crafting the psychological, social, and physical environments in which they occur. He believes leaders in the private and public sectors have an outsized role to play in shaping these well-being environments, and is passionate about helping them to support well-being within their organisations.
